Biography
Gennifer Hutchison is an American television writer and producer. She is best known for her work on the series Breaking Bad (2008), where she began as an assistant before joining the writing staff in season three. She rose to executive story editor on the fifth and final season.
She has written episodes of Better Call Saul (2015) across multiple seasons, serving as supervising producer, co-executive producer and executive producer. Other credits include writing and producing on The Strain (2014) and writing for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022). She previously worked in production roles on series including The X-Files, Star Trek: Enterprise, Grey's Anatomy and Mad Men.
Hutchison won two Writers Guild of America Awards for her contributions to the Breaking Bad writing team in 2012 and 2013, and received Emmy nominations for Better Call Saul.
