Biography
George Buck Flower was an American actor, writer and producer. Born George Albert Flower on 28 October 1937 in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, he began appearing in films in the 1970s, often in small roles as drunks or homeless men.
He worked repeatedly with director John Carpenter, appearing in The Fog (1980), Escape from New York (1981), Starman (1984), They Live (1988), Body Bags (1993) and Village of the Damned (1995). Other notable credits include the Bum in Back to the Future (1985) and its 1989 sequel. Flower also worked behind the scenes in production roles and was the father of actress Verkina Flower. He died in Los Angeles on 18 June 2004.
