Biography
George Christy (14 May 1927 – 11 August 2020) was an American actor and columnist. Born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, he appeared in numerous films and television productions from the late 1980s onwards, including Die Hard (1988) as Dr Hasseldorf, Predator 2 (1990) as a reporter, Se7en (1995) as the workman at the door of Somerset's office, Outbreak (1995) as a senator and The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) as the senior museum guard.
He wrote the society column "The Great Life" for The Hollywood Reporter for 26 years until 2001. He later contributed a column to The Beverly Hills Courier from 2006 to 2019.
