Biography
George Hamilton is an American actor. He began his film career with the lead role in Crime and Punishment U.S.A. (1959), for which he won a Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer and received a BAFTA nomination.
His film credits include Home from the Hill (1960), Light in the Piazza (1962), Love at First Bite (1979), The Godfather Part III (1990) as B.J. Harrison, Doc Hollywood (1991) and Hollywood Ending (2002). On television he has appeared in Columbo, Pushing Daisies (2007) as Ned's Father (uncredited), 2 Broke Girls and American Housewife.
Hamilton was married to actress and television personality Alana Stewart from 1972 to 1975; they have a son, actor Ashley Hamilton.
