Biography
Ger Ryan is an Irish film and television actress. She played Margie McEvoy in the BBC drama series The Street (2006–2009).
Her other credits include The Commitments (1991), War of the Buttons (1994), Moll Flanders (1996), Intermission (2003), Dorothy Mills (2008), Love, Rosie (2014) and The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017). She has also appeared in Queer as Folk (1999) and Raw (2010–2013).
Ryan has received IFTA nominations for Amongst Women, Intermission and The Return, and won an IFTA for her work on the RTÉ docu-drama Stardust (2006). She has been nominated twice for Royal Television Society Awards.
