Biography
Gérard Buhr (also credited as Gerard Bühr) was a French actor born on 8 May 1928 in Strasbourg and who died on 8 January 1988 in Paris. He appeared in numerous films and television productions from the early 1950s until the late 1980s, often in supporting roles.
His credits include uncredited parts in The Earrings of Madame de... (1953) and Fanfan la Tulipe (1952), as well as roles in Bob le Flambeur (1956), Léon Morin, Priest (1961), The Day of the Jackal (1973), Love and Death (1975) and A View to a Kill (1985). He also wrote novels and television screenplays under the pseudonym Victor Harter and was married to actress Patricia Karim from 1963 until his death.
