Biography
Giorgio Armani was an Italian fashion designer whose work extended to film costume design. He received a credit for Brad Pitt’s evening attire on Inglourious Basterds (2009).
Armani founded his company in 1975 and collaborated on numerous films, including designing the wardrobe for Richard Gere in American Gigolo (1980) and contributing to The Untouchables (1987). He appeared as himself in documentaries such as Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008).
Born in Piacenza, Italy, Armani died on 4 September 2025.
