Biography

Harry Antrim (also credited as Henry Antrim) was an American stage, film and television actor. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he worked in vaudeville from at least 1906 and appeared in several Broadway productions in the 1930s and 1940s before moving to Los Angeles in the early 1930s. His screen career began with uncredited parts, starting with Small Town Girl (1936).

Antrim is known for his uncredited performance as R.H. Macy in Miracle on 34th Street (1947). Other film roles include The Heiress (1949), Act of Violence (1949), Teacher's Pet (1958) and Elmer Gantry (1960). On television he appeared in episodes of I Love Lucy (1951), Bonanza (1959), The Andy Griffith Show (1960), Gunsmoke (1955) and Green Acres (1965). His final film was The Monkey's Uncle (1965). He died in Los Angeles in 1967.
