Biography
Haruka Abe (安部 春香) is a Japanese actress based in London. She was born on 8 January 1988 in Nerima, Tokyo, and grew up between Tokyo, London and New York. As a child she trained at the Gekidan Himawari drama school in Tokyo, and later graduated with a first-class BA in Acting from Rose Bruford College in London.
Abe has appeared in numerous British television series, including as Miko in Ideal (2007–2011), Tomoko in Stath Lets Flats (2018), Tippi in Kiss Me First (2018), Suzume in Giri/Haji (2019) and Aimi Ito in Avenue 5 (2020). Her film credits include roles in 47 Ronin (2013), Cruella (2021) and Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021). She is also the speaking voice of Noodle for the virtual band Gorillaz and was an original cast member in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of My Neighbour Totoro.
