Biography
Harvey Guillén is an American actor. Born Javier Guillén on 3 May 1990 in Orange County, California, he adopted the name Harvey after teachers had difficulty pronouncing his given name. He is the son of Mexican immigrants and completed the Citrus Singers programme at Citrus College in 2005.
Guillén is best known for his role as Guillermo de la Cruz in the FX series What We Do in the Shadows (2019–). His film credits include Zach in The Internship (2013), Dr. Sanchez in Blue Beetle (2023), Gabo (voice) in Wish (2023), and Eli in Companion (2025). He has also voiced Perrito in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) and Odie in The Garfield Movie (2024).
Guillén identifies as queer and speaks Spanish, English and Japanese.
