Biography
Hayedeh Safiyari is an Iranian film editor. She has worked in the industry since 1981 and has edited more than 90 feature films and documentaries.
She is best known for her frequent collaborations with director Asghar Farhadi, including A Separation (2011), The Salesman (2016), Everybody Knows (2018) and A Hero (2021). Other notable credits include About Elly (2009), Fireworks Wednesday (2006) and Turtles Can Fly (2004). Safiyari has received several Crystal Simorgh awards and an Asian Film Award for editing.
She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
