Biography
Hugo Guinness (born Hugo Arthur Rundell Guinness, 12 September 1959) is a British artist, illustrator and writer. He is known for his bold graphic black-and-white block prints and illustrations that have appeared in publications including The New Yorker and The New York Times.
Guinness has collaborated with film director Wes Anderson, providing artwork for The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) and voicing the character Nathan Bunce in Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009). He co-wrote the story for The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) and contributed to the story of The French Dispatch (2021). He attended Eton College and has been married to artist Elliott Puckette since 1996.
