Biography
Ian Cooper is a film producer and the creative director of Monkeypaw Productions, where he is Jordan Peele's producing partner. He has produced Us (2019), Candyman (2021), Nope (2022), Monkey Man (2024) and HIM (2025), and served as executive producer on Wendell & Wild (2022).
Cooper is also a visual artist working in mixed media sculpture. He holds an MFA from Bard College and has exhibited in solo and group shows in the United States and abroad; his work is held in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art.
