Biography
Ian Kershaw is an English writer and actor for stage, screen and radio. He grew up in Oldham, Lancashire, and trained as an actor at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama before beginning to write through a BBC North and Contact Theatre playwriting slam.
He has written episodes of Shameless (2009–2012), Coronation Street (including BAFTA-winning episodes), Death in Paradise, Cold Feet, Holby City and Casualty. He has also acted in television, including roles in The Dumping Ground and earlier appearances in Coronation Street.
