Biography
Ilene S. Landress is an American television and film producer. She began her career in the late 1980s as a production assistant on Crocodile Dundee and later worked in production accounting and management on films including Quiz Show (1994). In the 1990s she produced for DreamWorks Television, contributing to the Academy Award-winning short Dear Diary and the series Spin City.
David Chase hired her as a producer on The Sopranos in 1997; she produced all 86 episodes across its six seasons and also appeared in a cameo role. She has since served as executive producer or co-executive producer on series including Girls (2012–2017), Mildred Pierce (2011), Succession (2018), Camping (2018) and The Nevers (2021). Landress won two Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on The Sopranos.
