Biography
Irving Metzman is an American actor. Born Douglas Kahn on 28 March 1946 in New York, he adopted his professional name from a character in his second stage production.
Metzman began his career in Off-Off Broadway theatre after being discovered by playwright Robert Patrick in 1965. He has appeared in numerous films and television series, with credits including Richter in WarGames (1983), Mr Bundles in Annie (1982), the Theatre Manager in The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985), and multiple guest roles on Law & Order (1990–2001) and The Equalizer (1985–1988). He was frequently cast by Woody Allen and is also a published playwright.
