Biography
Jackson Greenberg is an American film and television composer based in Los Angeles. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Greenberg studied music at Princeton University, the Royal College of Music in London and the USC Thornton School of Music. He worked as an assistant to composer Randy Newman before scoring his first feature, Cartel Land (2015). He has since composed for documentaries including City of Ghosts (2017) and Audible (2021), as well as the theme for the Netflix series Explained.
He was named a Sundance Lab Composer Fellow in 2017. His score for Audible won a Hollywood Music in Media Award, and his work on Cartel Land received a Cinema Eye Honors nomination.
