Biography
James Clyne is an American production designer and former concept artist. He studied fine art at UC Santa Barbara and industrial design at the Art Center College of Design.
Clyne worked in the art department on numerous films, including Avatar (2009), Star Trek (2009), Alita: Battle Angel (2019) and several Star Wars projects. He joined the ILM Art Department in 2013 and later served as Lucasfilm Design Supervisor on Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019).
He served as production designer on The Creator (2023), directed by Gareth Edwards, and Jurassic World Rebirth (2025).
