Biography
James Dreyfus is an English actor. Born on 9 October 1968 in Islington, London, he was educated at Harrow School and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
His television roles include Christopher in Absolutely Fabulous (1992), Constable Kevin Goody in The Thin Blue Line (1995–1996), Tom Farrell in Gimme Gimme Gimme (1999–2001) and the Reverend Roger Jones in Mount Pleasant (2012–2017). Film appearances include Martin in Notting Hill (1999). He has also appeared in House of the Dragon (2022) as Lord Gormon Massey.
On stage, Dreyfus won the 1998 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Supporting Performance in a Musical for The Lady in the Dark at the National Theatre. He has also appeared in West End productions including Cabaret and The Producers.
