Biography
James Wong Jim (also credited as Huang Zhan, Wong Cham-Sam, Jimmy Wong and Jim Wong) was a Hong Kong actor, composer and lyricist. Born Wong Jum-sum on 18 March 1941 in Panyu, Guangzhou, he died on 24 November 2004 in Hong Kong.
He appeared in numerous films, including Twin Dragons (1992) as Mr Ma, Iron Monkey (1993) as Governor Cheng Pak Fong, Flirting Scholar (1993) as Master Wah, Miracles: The Canton Godfather (1989), Fight Back to School 2 (1992) as Minister Wong, Tiger on the Beat (1988) as Captain Pak Man Jim and Return to a Better Tomorrow (1994) as Barrister Wong Tai-Man. He also composed additional music for Hard Boiled (1992) and worked as a lyricist on many Cantopop songs and film scores.
