Biography
James Y. Kwei is a film editor, also credited as James Kwei or Jimmy Kwei. He edited GoodFellas (1990), Brain Damage (1988), Grace of My Heart (1996) and The Prime Gig (2000). He worked as associate editor on Casino (1995) and served in editorial department roles on several Martin Scorsese films, including After Hours (1985), Bringing Out the Dead (1999) and Gangs of New York (2002).
Kwei has edited episodes of the television series Oz (1998) and Queens Supreme (2003). Later credits include producing and editing consultant work on short films.
