Biography

Jamie Flanagan is a writer and producer known for work on horror series created by their sibling, Mike Flanagan. They received writing credits on the Netflix miniseries Midnight Mass (2021), where they also served as story editor, and wrote the teleplay for one episode of The Fall of the House of Usher (2023), on which they were also a producer. Other writing credits include The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), The Midnight Club (2022), Creepshow (2023) and Hysteria! (2024).

Flanagan is a Bram Stoker Award winner. They began their career in theatre, with stage credits including the New York Theatre Workshop production of columbinus (Drama League nomination) and work with companies such as Woolly Mammoth Theater Company and Arena Stage. They have also acted in several of Mike Flanagan’s projects, including The Haunting of Hill House (2018), Doctor Sleep (2019) and The Midnight Club (2022).
