Biography
Jamie Kirkpatrick is a film editor based in New York. He has worked in the independent film scene for over twenty years, with credits including assistant editor on Lost in Translation (2003) and editor on Dave Chappelle's Block Party (2005).
His editing credits also include My Friend Dahmer (2017), Critical Thinking (2020), Old Henry (2021) and Greedy People (2024). He began in the industry through an internship on the 1994 film Little Giants, where he was mentored by editors including Donn Cambern, and later attended film school in Boston.
Kirkpatrick has additionally directed short films and worked in television and commercials.
