Biography
Jane Fallon is an English television producer and novelist. She was born on 9 December 1960 in Harrow, London. After studying history at University College London, she worked as a script reader and editor before becoming a producer.
Her early producing credits include episodes of EastEnders in 1994. She produced the BBC drama series This Life (1996–1997) and served as executive producer on the Channel 4 series Teachers (2001–2004), as well as 20 Things to Do Before You're 30 (2003). She received several BAFTA nominations for her television work.
Fallon left television production around 2006 to write full time. Her debut novel Getting Rid of Matthew was published in 2007, followed by several further novels that reached the Sunday Times bestseller list.
