Biography

Jane Ruhm is a costume designer. She began her career in 1975 on the film Death Race 2000 and has worked on numerous films including Say Anything... (1989), Singles (1992), Matilda (1996) and Death to Smoochy (2002). Her television credits include Seinfeld (1989), Amazing Stories, Weeds and Eagleheart.

She has received four Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on the series Tracey Takes On.... A native of Los Angeles, Ruhm earned a B.F.A. from UCLA and attended graduate school at the UCLA College of Fine Arts. She is a lecturer at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
