Biography
Janet Varney is an American actress, comedian, writer and producer. She was born on 16 February 1976 in Tucson, Arizona, and graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in theatre.
She is known for voicing the title character in the Nickelodeon series The Legend of Korra (2012–2014). Varney had a recurring role as Becca Barbara in the FX series You're the Worst (2014–2019) and co-starred as Evie Barret in Stan Against Evil (2016–2018). She hosted TBS's Dinner and a Movie from 2005 to 2011.
Varney is a co-founder of the San Francisco Sketchfest comedy festival. Her other credits include guest appearances in How I Met Your Mother, Bones and Psych, and voice roles in Harley Quinn and The Legend of Vox Machina.
