Biography
Jared Stern is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He began his career writing the screenplay for Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011) and went on to write The Watch (2012) and The Internship (2013).
Stern wrote the screenplays for The Lego Batman Movie (2017) and The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017), collaborating with John Whittington on both. He also wrote for the animated series Green Eggs and Ham (2019), which he created. Stern made his feature directorial debut with Happy Anniversary (2018) and directed and co-wrote DC League of Super-Pets (2022). He has served as executive producer on Storks (2016) and Smallfoot (2018).
