Biography
John Whittington is an American screenwriter. He is known for his work on several animated and live-action films, including co-writing the screenplays for The Lego Batman Movie (2017) and The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017).
Whittington has collaborated frequently with Jared Stern on projects such as DC League of Super-Pets (2022). He also worked with Pat Casey and Josh Miller on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022) and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024). Other credits include the screenplay for When We First Met (2018) and episodes of the animated series Green Eggs and Ham (2019). He created the television series Knuckles (2024) with Toby Ascher. Whittington is a graduate of New York University.
