Biography

Jason Ensler is an American television director, producer and screenwriter. He attended Brandeis University, where he earned a BA in Politics and Theater, and graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with an MFA in Cinema/Television production.

Ensler began his career in television promotion at NBC, where he designed launch campaigns for series including The West Wing (1999). He has directed episodes of numerous programmes, among them Scrubs, The West Wing, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Newsroom, Chuck, Psych, My Name Is Earl, Gossip Girl, 2 Broke Girls, Lethal Weapon and Love, Victor (2020–2022). He has also directed and executive produced pilots for series such as Franklin & Bash, Hart of Dixie and The Passage, and served as executive producer and series director on The Exorcist and all three seasons of Love, Victor.
