Biography
Jed Tucker Whedon (born 18 July 1975) is an American screenwriter and musician. He is the son of screenwriter Tom Whedon and the grandson of screenwriter John Whedon. His brothers are screenwriter Zack Whedon and filmmaker Joss Whedon.
Whedon wrote episodes of the series Dollhouse (2009), created by his brother Joss, often in collaboration with his wife Maurissa Tancharoen, whom he married in 2009. He co-created and co-wrote the web musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008) with his brothers and Tancharoen, for which he also contributed music. He has written for Spartacus (2010), Drop Dead Diva (2009) and served as showrunner, producer and writer on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2020). Prior to screenwriting, he composed for video games and was a member of the band The Southland.
