Biography
Jeff Grace is an American composer of film and television scores. He grew up in Boston and studied piano and composition at the Berklee College of Music and Rutgers University. After early work assisting composer Robert Ruggieri, he served as assistant to Howard Shore on films including Gangs of New York (2002) and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Grace began scoring feature films in the mid-2000s, often collaborating with director Ti West on horror titles such as The Roost (2005), The House of the Devil (2009) and The Innkeepers (2011). His other credits include Stake Land (2010), Meek's Cutoff (2011), We Are What We Are (2013), Cold in July (2014), In a Valley of Violence (2016) and Certain Women (2016). He has composed for the television series Sweet Tooth (2021–2024) and Hap and Leonard (2016–2018). Grace is based in New York City.
