Biography
Neil Kopp is an American film producer. Born in 1979 in Portland, Oregon, he attended Vancouver Film School in British Columbia, Canada, where he studied film production.
Kopp's early feature credits include Kelly Reichardt's Old Joy (2006) and Wendy and Lucy (2008), Gus Van Sant's Paranoid Park (2007), and Reichardt's Meek's Cutoff (2010). He has maintained a long collaboration with Reichardt on subsequent films including Night Moves (2013), Certain Women (2016), First Cow (2019) and Showing Up (2022). Other productions include Jeremy Saulnier's Green Room (2015), Hold the Dark (2018) and Rebel Ridge (2024), as well as I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017).
Kopp co-founded the production company filmscience. He has received an Independent Spirit Producers Award and other nominations, and his films have screened at festivals including Cannes, Sundance and Venice.
