Biography
Jeff Reno is a writer and producer. He began his career as a staff writer on the sitcom Mork & Mindy (1978) alongside writing partner Ron Osborn. Reno contributed to series including Moonlighting (1985), for which he earned Emmy nominations, Night Court (1984), Silver Spoons (1982) and the animated series Duckman (1994), on which he also served as executive producer.
His film work includes the screenplay for Meet Joe Black (1998) and Radioland Murders (1994). Reno wrote the teleplay for an episode of The West Wing (1999) and worked as consulting producer on the series. Later credits include episodes of She Spies (2002) and Good Witch (2017).
Born in Davenport, Iowa, Reno studied English before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television and film writing.
