Biography
Ron Osborn is an American writer and producer. His credits span television series and feature films from the late 1970s onward, including story editor and writing roles on Mork & Mindy (1978) and Night Court (1984), as well as writing contributions to Moonlighting (1985), Duckman (1994) and Silver Spoons (1982).
He co-wrote the screenplay for the film Meet Joe Black (1998) and the teleplay for an episode of The West Wing (1999) with his frequent collaborator Jeff Reno. Osborn also served as producer or consulting producer on several of these series and received multiple Primetime Emmy nominations for his writing and producing work.
