Biography
Jeffrey Caine is a British screenwriter. Born in 1944 in London, he was educated at the University of Sussex and the University of Leeds. He began his career in television, creating and writing for series including The Chief (1990–1995) and Bodyguards (1996–1997).
His film work includes the screenplay for the James Bond film GoldenEye (1995). He later wrote Inside I'm Dancing (2004), The Constant Gardener (2005)—for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay—and contributed to Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) and The Song of Names (2019).
