Biography
Jennifer Ventimilia is an American screenwriter and television writer and producer, previously credited as Jeffrey Ventimilia or J.R. Ventimilia. She was born on 20 May 1966 in Somerville, New Jersey.
She worked as a writer and story editor on The Simpsons, contributing to episodes including 'A Star Is Burns', ''Round Springfield' (teleplay) and 'Simpson Tide' (with Joshua Sternin). Other early credits include The Critic, Murphy Brown and That '70s Show. With Sternin she created the unaired Fox series The Grubbs (2002).
Later work includes screenplays for the films Surviving Christmas (2004) and Tooth Fairy (2010), and Rio (2011). She served as writer and executive producer on the 2012 Nickelodeon reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and as co-creator and writer on Robot and Monster and The Real O'Neals.
