Biography
Jerrika Hinton is an American actress. She was born on 28 September 1981 in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, and graduated with honours from Southern Methodist University in 2002 with a BFA in theatre, having studied directing and playwriting.
Hinton began her career in stage productions and made her film debut in Rain (2006). She appeared in guest roles on series including Gilmore Girls, Ghost Whisperer, Gossip Girl, Bones and Scandal. Her breakthrough came as Dr Stephanie Edwards in Grey's Anatomy (2012–2017), appearing in over 100 episodes. Subsequent roles include Millie Morris in Hunters (2020–2023), Natalie Gorman in Servant (2019–2021) and Ashley Collins in Here and Now (2018). Film credits include The Roommate (2011), Mr. Crocket (2024) and The Piano Lesson (2024), in which she played Grace.
