Biography
Jette Lehmann is a Danish production designer. Born on 19 November 1957 in Copenhagen, she trained as an architect before working as a scenographer at Danmarks Radio. Her first major credit was as production designer on the television series The Kingdom (1994).
Lehmann has worked extensively in Danish cinema and television. Her credits include production design on Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself (2002), Dear Wendy (2005), Flame & Citron (2008), Melancholia (2011), A Fortunate Man (2018) and The Promised Land (2023). She has also designed for series such as The Killing and Seaside Hotel.
She has received multiple Robert Awards for production design, including for Melancholia (2012), and won the European Film Award for Best Production Designer for the same film in 2011.
