Biography
Jim Herzfeld is an American screenwriter and television producer. He graduated from the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television in 1984.
His earliest television credit was on It's Garry Shandling's Show in 1986, after which he wrote and produced on sitcoms including Married... with Children. His first feature film credit was the story for Tapeheads (1988).
Herzfeld wrote the screenplay for Meet the Parents (2000) and the story and screenplay for Meet the Fockers (2004). He also wrote Meet the Deedles (1998) and the teleplay for The Jungle Book: Mowgli's Story (1998), and contributed to the canceled Circle 7 Animation version of Toy Story 3.
