Biography
Jim McBride is an American film and television director and screenwriter. He was born on 16 September 1941 in New York City.
His early feature David Holzman's Diary (1967), which he directed and co-wrote, is a mockumentary. Later credits include directing and co-writing the remake Breathless (1983), directing The Big Easy (1986) and Great Balls of Fire! (1989), and episodes of the series The Wonder Years (1988–1991) and Six Feet Under (2001).
