Biography
Jim Parrack is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Hoyt Fortenberry in the HBO series True Blood (2008–2014), appearing as a main cast member for seasons one to five and seven.
Born in Allen, Texas, Parrack moved to Los Angeles in 2001. He studied acting at the Stella Adler Academy and Playhouse West. His screen debut was in the 2006 film Annapolis. Subsequent film roles include Battle: Los Angeles (2011), Fury (2014), Suicide Squad (2016) and F9 (2021). He has also appeared in television series such as Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, Criminal Minds and 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020–2025). In 2014, he performed in the Broadway revival of Of Mice and Men.
