Biography
Jo Johnson is a British television producer and director. She began her career directing episodes of series including EastEnders (1994–2008), Coronation Street (2014–2016), Casualty (2015–2017) and Bad Girls (2001–2002).
As a producer she has worked on EastEnders (2003–2007), Casualty (2016–2021), Ackley Bridge (2019), The Walk-In (2022), A Thousand Blows (2025) and Adolescence (2025). She received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series as producer of Adolescence.
