Biography
Joanna Gleason is a Canadian actress and singer. She originated the role of the Baker's Wife in Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods on Broadway in 1987, winning the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1988.
Her film roles include Carol in Hannah and Her Sisters (1986), Wendy Stern in Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) and Dirk's Mother in Boogie Nights (1997). She has also appeared in television series such as Friends, ER and Blue Bloods.
