Biography
Joe Anders, also credited as Joe Mendes or Joe Alfie Winslet Mendes, is an American-British actor, screenwriter and composer. He was born on 22 December 2003 in New York City and trained at the National Film and Television School.
He made his screen debut as Private Willock in 1917 (2019). Subsequent roles include Billy in the television film I Am Ruth (2022), Frank Kleeman in Lee (2023) and George Bobbin in Bonus Track (2023). He wrote the screenplay for Goodbye June (2025), the directorial debut of his mother, Kate Winslet. In 2026 he plays Zack Bowden in the Apple TV+ series Cape Fear.
