Biography
Joe Murphy is a film editor. His credits include Weapons (2025), Barbarian (2022), Swallow (2019), Beach Rats (2017), We Summon the Darkness (2019), On Swift Horses (2024), Zeroville (2019) and Paper Spiders (2020). He has also worked in television, editing episodes of series including A Friend of the Family (2022).
Murphy has collaborated repeatedly with director Zach Cregger. He received the 2017 James Lyons Award for Best Editing of a Feature Narrative and has been nominated for several other editing awards.
