Biography
J. D. Lifshitz is an American film producer. Born Jordan David Lifshitz on 13 October 1992 in Great Neck, New York, he co-founded the production company BoulderLight Pictures with Raphael Margules in 2012.
Through BoulderLight, Lifshitz has produced horror and thriller films including Contracted (2013), The Vigil (2019), Becky (2020), Barbarian (2022), Woman of the Hour (2024) and The Wrath of Becky (2023). He produced the 2025 films Companion and Weapons.
In 2025, Lifshitz and Margules were hired by Paramount Pictures to launch a new genre label.
