Biography
Joel B. Michaels is a film producer. He began his career in the 1970s, initially working in production management and as an associate producer on several features before taking producing credits.
His credits include The Changeling (1980), Stargate (1994), Lolita (1997), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Basic Instinct 2 (2006) and The Amateur (2025). For The Changeling he received a Genie Award for best motion picture and a Golden Reel Award.
Michaels was born in Buffalo, New York. He studied acting with Stella Adler and appeared as an actor with the Stratford Festival in Ontario and on Canadian and British television.
