Biography
Johan Söderqvist is a Swedish film score composer. He was born on 11 February 1966 in Täby, outside Stockholm, and studied composition and arranging at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
He began composing for film in 1991 with Agnes Cecilia and has since scored numerous features and television series. His work includes scores for nine films directed by Susanne Bier, such as After the Wedding (2006), as well as Let the Right One In (2008), Kon-Tiki (2012), The Bridge (2011) and Madame Web (2024).
Söderqvist was nominated twice for the European Film Award for Best Composer, for Brothers (2004) and Let the Right One In (2008).
