Biography
John Bell (born 20 October 1997) is a Scottish actor. He made his television debut as Creet in the 2007 Doctor Who episode 'Utopia', after winning a Blue Peter competition. Early roles include Toby Coleman in Tracy Beaker Returns (2010–2011) and appearances in Life of Riley (2009–2010).
Bell played Bain in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). Other film credits include Angus in Battleship (2012) and Helius in Wrath of the Titans (2012). He has portrayed Young Ian Murray (Ian Fraser Murray) in the series Outlander since 2017.
