Biography
John Huttner Lesher (born 12 May 1966) is an American film producer. He began his career as a talent agent, becoming a partner at the United Talent Agency before moving to Endeavor, where his clients included directors such as Martin Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson and Alejandro González Iñárritu.
Lesher later served as head of Paramount Vantage and president of Paramount Pictures. After leaving the studio in 2009, he founded Le Grisbi Productions. He produced End of Watch (2012), Fury (2014), Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) – for which he shared the Academy Award for Best Picture – Black Mass (2015), Hostiles (2017) and Ferrari (2023), and has been an executive producer on the series Severance (2022).
